Hi There,
Well here we are one year into this pandemic and still basically on hold. Have you been vaccinated yet? My husband and I got ours in early March. It’s still a waiting game but I have faith things will get better.
How have you fared this past year? Have you learned any new skills needed to make things work for you during shutdown? Please send me a note to say how you are doing. It’d be good to hear from you!
First Monday Open Mic - International Women in Jazz

Earlier this year I re-joined the non-profit organization International Women in Jazz or IWJ. They’re based in NYC and I was a member when I went to the city twice a month to see my vocal coach. It was fun going to the First Monday Jazz Jam that was, at that time held at the AFM Headquarters in downtown Manhattan. I met many great musicians and made many long time friends.
I was asked to be a special guest at April’s First Monday Jam Session held on Zoom (of course). It will be fun to participate again in a session. I hope you can log on. The tickets are free and open to the public. Use the link here for tickets IWJ First Monday Jam
