"Choices" CD Release Parties

March in "The Jazz Room"

Well it's almost March and we are getting closer to the May 1st Release date for "Choices" There are TWO CD release parties scheduled now.

It was very exciting to receive the final copies of the manufactured CD's. It's hard waiting until May to release them. The people who are helping me with the release needed to have their CD's to do pre-release promotion. This has been and interesting journey so far and it's just getting started!

CD Release Parties

On Saturday , May 16th we'll be at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts from 7:30 to 10 PM Admission is $15.00 which includes a free CD and a Glass of Wine ( yes that's one of the songs on the CD" to help us toast New Beginnings. CCA will give you a chip for your glass of wine when you pay at the door or show you purchased tickets on their website. I'll have their link in the next Jazzy Blog.

For those of you who live in the Boston Area and either don't drive or can't we are having a second CD arty at The Lilypad in Cambridge, MA on Saturday June 6th from 3-7PM. I'll send out more about this event as we get closer to the date.

March in "The Jazz Room" New Link to DQRM

This month in the 'Jazz Room", we interview two artists we met at APAP in New York City. What I love about doing this program that I'm able to introduce you to many artists of varied genres.

The first two weeks of March we feature our two part interview with Poet, Jessica Care Moore . After discovering that we had actually lived one block from each in NYC at one time,we talked about her poetry and her first CD adding music to tell her stories about people she's met in her time in Harlem and in Detroit. The second two weeks of March we feature multi-faceted

Grammy -Winning artist, Martha Gonzalez.

A singer/musician/percussionst/ educator and community builder or as she would say Artrivista. In this two part interview we talk about her community work, her music, and Fandano and her band, Quetzal. Learn more about Martha Gonzalez at
