August 3,4 and 5 “The Jazz Room” returns to cover the Newport Jazz Festival 2023. This year marks the 17th year of us covering this festival.

Return to The Lilypad on August 19th

On August 19th we return to perform at The Lilypad in Cambridge MA. Alvin Terry,drums, Dave Zox,bass , Bobby Tynes, sax and I are looking forward to swinging with pianist Steve Aubert who is filling in for Frank Wilkins.

An Actual Vacation!



Ben Cruachan, Dalmally Scotland " Mountain"

It was good to take a 3 week break to spend time with all the Watson-Joneses in the UK. We also took time to travel around the country.

We visited ”Mountain”, Ben Cruachan, in Taynuilt and Dalmally Scotland. In Dalmally I met a Red Squirrel I named “Robbie.” He's the star in the video below!
